Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Mobile Response Driver in Carleton, MI to serve clients across technology, media, and telecom environments. As a Part-Time Security Officer with driving duties, you will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and help maintain a welcoming, safe site.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law; background histories considered per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing guests and reporting irregular conditions.
• Complete required reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly.
