Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Review in Columbus, OH to protect clients in government transportation settings. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a professional, courteous presence.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adherence to site protocols. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, badge experience, and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and stakeholders while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, documenting incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain a professional presence at a government transportation location while communicating clearly with the public, airport personnel, and Allied Universal leadership.
