Job summary

Allied Universal in Columbus, OH is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) to patrol, deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors with professionalism. You will contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for public and staff while upholding Allied Universal's values.

Responsibilities include regular patrols of airport facilities and related areas, handling security procedures, responding to incidents calmly, and maintaining clear communication with the public and site

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• 18 years old minimum for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Background check and drug screening are required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and stakeholders while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, and access points.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and follow site protocols.
• Monitor access points and document incidents and patrols as required.
• Maintain a professional presence and communicate clearly with the public, airport personnel, and leadership.
