Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Visitor Assistance in Columbus, OH. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support access control activities at a fast-paced logistics site.

The role requires providing excellent customer service, reporting security concerns, and following site-specific procedures. A background check and drug screen are required, with licensing upon state rules where applicable.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, yards, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and delivery traffic per site procedures.
• Document observations and incidents in required reports and communicate with site leadership.
