Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Diagnostic Sonography professional to perform ultrasound procedures with independent judgment and ensure accurate imaging for diagnosis. The role requires ARDMS Physics registration, a high school diploma or GED, and strong patient documentation.

Full-time, on-site position with good radiation safety practices and teamwork within the department. Prior ultrasound experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure: ARDMS registered in Physics; BLS cert required or within 30 days of hire.
• Education: high school diploma or GED; ARDMS program graduate.
• Experience: prior ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate sonographic equipment per specifications.
• Produce quality sonograms within department standards.
• Follow radiation safety practices as applicable.
• Maintain patient records per department standards.
• Collaborate with team and participate in duties as assigned.
• Assess patients for exams with proper documentation and prep.
