Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be ARDMS registered in Physics.
• Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited ARDMS program.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate all sonographic equipment according to equipment specifications.
• Produce quality sonograms within department standards.
• Follow radiation safety practices when applicable and monitor safety guidelines.
• Maintain patient records according to department standards.
• Exhibits team participation.
• Assess patients with appropriate documentation and workflow (orders, prior films, labs, pregnancy checks, history).
• Provide patient education pertinent to the exam.
