Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System NGPG - OB/GYN seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound duties with independence and initiative. ARDMS in Physics and BLS within 30 days are required. High school diploma or GED and ARDMS program completion are essential for this full-time role.

You will operate sonographic equipment, produce quality images, and maintain patient records while following safety guidelines and collaborating with clinicians in a busy OB/GYN setting.

Qualifications

• Must be ARDMS registered in Physics; BLS certification required within 30 days.
• High school diploma or GED; graduate of accredited ARDMS program.
• Ability to perform quality sonographic procedures and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Operate all sonographic equipment per specifications.
• Produce quality sonograms within department standards.
• Follow radiation safety practices and monitor patient safety.
• Maintain patient records according to department standards.
• Assess patients with exam orders and prepare appropriate history.
• Document results and use RIS and CPAC systems accurately.
