CHS Career Site is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in Statesboro, GA for a part-time schedule. The role requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and a focus on patient safety and comfort during diagnostic ultrasound examinations.

Responsibilities include performing ultrasound procedures, verifying orders, documenting in the EHR, and ensuring images are available for radiologist review. ARDMS/ARRT certification and BCLS are required or eligible.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of clinical ultrasound experience required
• 2-4 years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures independently per department protocols and ensure high-quality imaging.
• Verify patient identity and that procedures are correctly ordered before imaging.
• Document imaging procedures and patient information in the EHR and ensure scans are uploaded to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and dignity during all imaging
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and compliant with infection control policies
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely per departmental guidelines
• Monitor supplies and coordinate inventory replenishment as needed
