Qualifications

• Must be ARDMS registered in Physics and BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
• High school diploma or GED; graduate of accredited ARDMS Program.

Responsibilities

• Operate all sonographic equipment according to equipment specifications.
• Produce quality sonograms within department standards.
• Follow radiation safety practices per guidelines.
• Maintain patient records per department standards.
• Exhibits team participation.
• Assess patient according to exam with appropriate documentation.
• Provide patient education and document in the patient record.
• Utilize RIS and CPAC procedures correctly.
• Perform other duties as assigned (stock rooms, training, projects).
