Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program or equivalent.
• ARDMS-based credentials (Cardiac, Vascular, Abdomen, OB/Gyn, etc.) are required or strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required upon hire (AHA and ARC)

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate ultrasound examinations using appropriate imaging equipment.
• Demonstrate professional judgment and initiative to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow patient- and family-centered care policies and collaborate with the health care team.

FULL TIME-EVENINGS About Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is verified as a Level II trauma center and accredited by the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center. The hospital is also known for clinical excellence and innovation in the fields of orthopedics, neurosciences, women’s health, heart and vascular and cancer care.

Scope to Work Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
