Corewell Health - Royal Oak Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist for the evening shift. The role involves performing ultrasound exams with high-quality imaging for interpretation, under the supervision of the site leader.

Responsibilities include patient-centered care, adherence to policies, and teamwork in a major academic-referral hospital setting with a 40-hour workweek and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent; graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound program.
• ARDMS/BLS certifications required at hire.
• One year experience or student level in selected specialties.
• CRT-Sonographer (S) – ARDMS, 1 year.
• CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) – ARDMS, 1 year.
• CRT-Abdomen (AB) – ARDMS, 1 year.
• CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) – ARDMS, 1 year.
• RDCS – Cardiac, 1 year.
• RCS – Cardiac, 1 year.
• VT – Vascular, within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under site designate leader, performs accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams using appropriate imaging equipment.
• Maintain high-quality images for interpretation and patient care.
• Demonstrate professional clinical skills and comply with patient-centered care policies.

About Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24, 1955 as a 238-bed community hospital. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Scope to Work

Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Required associate's degree or equivalent Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
• Minimal as gained at student level. Required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDE Cardiac 1 Year required
