Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound program.
• BLS/CPR certification required upon hire.
• ARDMS credentials in Abdomen, OB/Gyn, Cardiac, or vascular as specified.
• Experience or student-equivalent exposure to ultrasound imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient ultrasound exams using appropriate imaging equipment.
• Demonstrate good clinical skills and provide high-quality images for interpretation.
• Follow Patient and Family Centered Care principles on all interactions.

About Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24, 1955 as a 238-bed community hospital. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Scope to Work Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications Required

• associate's degree or equivalent Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent. Minimal as gained at student level.
• Required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
• Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDE Cardiac 1 Year required
• CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac, General, Vascular 1 Year required
