Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking a senior UKG Application Consultant and Boomi Integration Developer for a 6-month freelance engagement. Location is 100% remote with working hours aligned to South Africa time, and you will lead delivery and build integrations around UKG (Kronos) across live client projects.

You will collaborate directly with stakeholders, design, implement and maintain Boomi integrations between UKG and connected systems, and guide workstreams from day one with minimal ramp-up.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on UKG (Kronos) project experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of UKG Application expertise at a Senior level.
• Minimum 2+ years of Boomi integration development experience.
• Proven track record leading projects and not just contributing.
• Strong customer-facing experience with client stakeholders.
• Consulting background preferred with quick ramp-up.

Client Location – Remote (must work South Africa business hours)

Remote work offering – 100% Remote

Contract Length – 6 months, with strong potential for extension

Project focus

Our client is looking for a hybrid UKG (Kronos) consultant who can lead application delivery and build the integrations that sit around it. You will work directly with stakeholders to configure and support the UKG workforce management application across live client projects, and use Boomi to design, build and maintain integrations between UKG and connected systems. This is a senior, customer-facing and hands-on engagement for someone who can lead workstreams and deliver independently from day one.

Key skills and Experience required

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on UKG (Kronos) project experience
• Minimum 2+ years of UKG Application expertise at a Senior level
• Minimum 2+ years of Boomi integration development experience
• Proven track record leading projects, not just contributing to them
• Strong customer-facing experience, comfortable working directly with client stakeholders
• Consulting background strongly preferred, with the ability to hit the ground running in a new environment with minimal ramp-up
• Must be able to work core hours aligned to South Africa time zone
• Professional-level English or above (essential)
• Available to start immediately or within a short notice period; client can wait up to 4 weeks for the right profile, but earlier availability is strongly preferred
