Job summary

Ektello seeks an experienced Boomi Integrator to support the implementation and rollout of UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM), focusing on payroll and timekeeping integrations. This role owns integrations end-to-end, from requirements gathering to deployment support.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on UKG Pro WFM and Boomi integration experience, with certifications and strong analytical skills. Hybrid work arrangement out of Warren, MI for a 12-month W2 contract.

Responsibilities

• Support rollout of UKG Pro WFM focusing on payroll and timekeeping integrations.
• Own full integration lifecycle from requirements to deployment support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, configurators, and developers to define requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations using Boomi.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as integration design documents.
• Perform unit testing and ensure data accuracy across connected systems.
• Track tasks and progress using Jira and communicate status.
• Participate in team meetings to review milestones and priorities.
• Communicate technical updates and risks to technical and business partners.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Boomi Integrator to support the implementation and rollout of UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM), with a focus on payroll and timekeeping integrations. This role will own integrations end to end, from gathering business requirements and designing solutions to development, testing, and deployment support. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with UKG Pro WFM, Boomi, and workforce management integrations, along with the analytical and communication skills needed to collaborate with business stakeholders, configurators, and developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the rollout and implementation of UKG Pro WFM, focusing on payroll and timekeeping integrations.
• Own the full integration lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, application configurators, and developers to define integration requirements and resolve technical challenges.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations using Boomi and related workforce management integration tools.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration design documents, requirements, and development specifications.
• Perform unit testing, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure data accuracy and reliability across connected systems.
• Manage assigned tasks and project deliverables through Jira, tracking progress and communicating status updates.
• Participate in team meetings to review project milestones, discuss priorities, address issues, and align on upcoming initiatives.
• Communicate technical concepts, project updates, and potential risks clearly to both technical teams and business partners.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM).
• 3-5 years of experience developing integrations using Boomi.
• Experience with UKG Pro and workforce management integrations, particularly related to payroll and timekeeping.
• Must have Boomi Professional Developer certification, and ideally a UKG certification as well.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather requirements, evaluate solutions, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Experience with integration design, development, documentation, unit testing, and deployment support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document technical solutions and collaborate with developers and business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage assigned work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Work Environment

Collaborate with a team of approximately eight configurators and developers. Participate in regular project meetings, including twice-weekly task and progress reviews and biweekly team updates. Work in a collaborative, project-focused environment supporting the continued implementation and rollout of UKG Pro WFM.

Contract Opportunity

This position offers the potential for contract extension, with the possibility of transitioning to a direct-hire role.
