Wayve is seeking a Head of Fleet Operations (UK) to translate strategic testing plans into executable UK-wide on-road operations. You will lead two-shift coverage, supervise a diverse team, and partner with SW/HW/Product to optimize safety and performance across London and the UK.

This role requires 5+ years of managing large teams, strong leadership, and the ability to operate in a fast-changing environment with hybrid work arrangements across global hubs.

Competenze

• Proven operational management experience in automotive testing, tech, or safety-critical fields.
• Ability to translate high-level strategy into practical operating plans.
• Strong people leadership with experience managing diverse shift-based teams.
• Experience with resource planning and allocation across fleet and personnel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across SW, HW, Product, and global Fleet Ops leadership.
• Willingness to relocate to London and be in-person most of the time.

Mansioni

• Lead deployment of all UK on-road testing, coordinating Shift Leads to keep operators running across two shifts spanning 06:30–23:30, seven days a week
• Manage and allocate work across a diverse team including operational Shift Leads, ensuring clear roles, accountability, and high performance
• Work closely with supporting teams to maintain seamless operations
• Continuously adjust operational plans as customer needs, technology, and strategic priorities evolve
• Act as the primary escalation point for incident management and safety-critical decisions
