Wayve is seeking an experienced Fleet Operations Trainer to lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs for our Detroit fleet, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and high performance across teams. You’ll work with subject matter experts to create manuals, online resources, and practical exercises, and you’ll implement QA processes.

Qualifications

• Full clean US driving licence with at least 8 years’ driving experience (US)
• No blameworthy insurance claims within past 3 years
• Proven leadership and communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced team environment
• Experience as a team coordinator or in a similar role is preferred
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate training programs for fleet operations; recommend improvements
• Maintain training records; ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements
• Assess operating standards across teams; uphold quality objectives
• Develop and maintain training materials and online resources
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to improve content and standards
• Analyse training metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Oversee QA processes for training and operating standards
• Support staff development and course completion with Team Leads
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to forecast training needs
