Job summary

Wayve seeks a Fleet Operations Training Lead for the US and Japan to build and deliver scalable training across Fleet Operations. You will design onboarding, safety, and professional development programs, and align them with regional requirements while expanding to new geographies.

You will partner with operations leaders, develop competency frameworks, and implement evaluation metrics to ensure safe, effective performance. Strong focus on train-the-trainer and learning technologies.

Qualifications

• Develop onboarding, technical, safety, and professional-development training.
• Build competency frameworks and certification programs.
• Collaborate with leaders to assess skills and prioritize training.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using metrics and feedback.
• Scale training programs across multiple regions and languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive training strategy and roadmap for Fleet Operations US and Japan.
• Design and update onboarding, technical, safety, and professional development programs.
• Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and training priorities.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, practical, and blended learning experiences.
• Establish training standards and adapt content for local languages and regulations.
• Create learning paths, competency frameworks, and certifications.
• Define measures: participation, knowledge retention, time to competency.
• Use data to continually improve training content and outcomes.
• Develop train-the-trainer programs and support local trainers.
• Maintain records of training, competency, and certification.
