Job summary

Truist is seeking a Structured Lending Advisor to partner with Wealth Advisors in delivering highly customized credit strategies for UHNW clients. You will manage the deal lifecycle from proposal to closing, structuring complex facilities and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires deep credit knowledge, strong client relationships, and the ability to coordinate with multiple internal teams to drive growth and profitability across supported markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field or equivalent training.
• Seven years of training and experience related to Lending Advisor roles.
• Experience evaluating a client’s financials to structure complex credits as part of a financial plan.
• Familiarity with complex client entity structures, commercial lending products, and cash-flow based wealth lending.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong relationship skills and teamwork.
• NMLS / Safe Act registration within days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the deal lifecycle from proposal to loan closing.
• Serve as the primary contact for Wealth Advisors and deal fulfillment partners.
• Escalate backlogs to move transactions forward in the lifecycle.
• Build relationships as part of an advisor team to deliver planning-based loan solutions.
• Structure highly customized, complex loan structures within credit risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
• Support a variety of loan types including CRE, asset-backed and structured facilities.
• Coordinate with credit portfolio team, risk management, counsel, and compliance for timely delivery.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and loan market dynamics.
