Job summary

Truist in Atlanta seeks a Structured Lending Advisor to partner with Wealth Advisors, designing highly customized credit strategies for UHNW clients. You will manage deal lifecycle from proposal to closing and serve as the primary contact within the advisor team.

The role requires evaluating complex client profiles and ownership structures, crafting bespoke loan solutions while ensuring compliance with risk policies and market dynamics. Strong communication and relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field or equivalent
• Seven years of lending advisor experience
• Experience evaluating financial statements to structure complex credits
• Familiarity with complex client entity structures and wealth lending solutions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong client relationship skills and teamwork
• NMLS/Safe Act registration within days of hire

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the deal life cycle from proposal to loan closing
• Serve as the first point of contact for Wealth Advisors and deal fulfillment partners
• Escalate backlogs and issues to move transactions along
• Build relationships as part of an advisor team delivering planning-based loan solutions
• Structure highly customized, complex loan structures within risk appetite and regulatory requirements
• Review owner-occupied vs investor-owned real estate, yacht/airplane financing, and structured credits
• Drive new business and manage credit pipeline while balancing risk and revenue
