Job summary

Truist seeks a Structured Lending Advisor to partner with Wealth Advisors, recommending customized credit strategies for high net worth clients and prospects. You will manage end-to-end loan structures, ensuring a seamless experience and profitable outcomes in supported markets.

In this role, you will own deal lifecycle from proposal to closing, build advisor relationships, and drive credit portfolio growth while navigating regulatory requirements and market dynamics within Truist Wealth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and training.
• Seven years of training and experience related to Lending Advisor role.
• Experience evaluating client financial statements to structure complex credits.
• Familiarity with complex client entities and wealth lending solutions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong client relationship skills and teamwork.
• NMLS / Safe Act registration within days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the deal lifecycle from proposal to closing.
• Serve as main contact for Wealth Advisors and deal fulfillment partners.
• Escalate backlogs to move transactions forward.
• Build relationships within the advisor team to deliver loan solutions.
• Structure highly customized, complex loan structures within policy and regs.
• Credit requests may involve owner-occupied or investor real estate and other financing.
• Drive new business and manage the credit pipeline; balance risk and revenue.
• Prepare deal sheet memos with structure, analysis, and risk mitigants.
• Collaborate with credit, risk, counsel, compliance, and cross-functional teams.
