Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System in Philadelphia seeks a UCC Telecom Technician to support VOIP and analog endpoints, verify orders, and provide on-site technical assistance.

You will document call purposes and resolutions, manage installation milestones, and escalate issues as needed; role requires travel to customer sites and three days on-site per week (Tue–Thu) at Women’s and Families Hospital.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred.
• General networking knowledge (DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs) required.
• Experience with LAN/WAN environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aid in routine support tickets and deploy VOIP and analog endpoints.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of new customer orders; enter orders into ticketing system.
• Provide technical support to customers and document call purpose and resolution in ticketing software.
• Assist with orders through installation milestones to completion and ensure services are activated.
• Initiate and manage escalations through operations leadership and inventory management.
• Travel to various sites to support customer needs.
