Job summary

GDH Consulting, Inc. is seeking a skilled Network Engineer specializing in Unified Communications to design, implement, and optimize enterprise voice, video, messaging, and collaboration services across on-premises and cloud platforms.

The role collaborates with multiple tech teams to ensure secure, high-quality communications. You will deploy and support UC platforms including CUCM, Unity, Webex, and Microsoft Teams Phone, manage SIP trunks, Direct Routing, and cloud calling, and handle dial

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in IT, networking or telecommunications.
3+ years supporting enterprise networking or unified communications environments.
Hands-on with Cisco collaboration technologies (CUCM, Unity Connection, Webex, CUBE).
Experience with Teams Voice, Direct Routing, or Operator Connect.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and support UC platforms (CUCM, Unity, Webex, Teams Phone).
Support voice services including SIP trunks, PSTN, Direct Routing, and cloud calling.
Configure dial plans, call routing, auto attendants, call queues, and voicemail.
Manage Teams voice features via Admin Center and PowerShell.
Troubleshoot voice/video/messaging issues across LAN/WAN/cloud.
Analyze call quality using latency, jitter, MOS, QoS metrics.
Maintain network services: QoS, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, firewalls.
Provision users, licensing, migrations, onboarding/offboarding.
Monitor performance, capacity, availability, and upgrades.
Coordinate incident response and change management.
