Job summary

Technology Service Corporation’s AISR division in Arlington, VA seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test software for uncrewed aircraft systems and autonomous vehicles. You’ll work hands-on on embedded systems, sensor and payload integration, and testing within a multi-disciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field and strong C/C++, Python, MATLAB, and JavaScript skills, with up to 10% travel and eligibility for a Top Secret DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace or related field.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, MATLAB, JavaScript.
• Experience with embedded systems for autonomous vehicles.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, testing.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain clean, well-documented code for embedded systems.
• Debug and test a larger codebase with a multi-developer team; perform developmental testing.
• Support software for UAS platforms including prototyping, end-item development and lab/field evaluation.
