Job summary

FALCATA AISR Division in Arlington, VA seeks a Software Engineer focused on design, development, integration and testing of software for uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS). The role involves writing efficient embedded code, debugging, prototyping and testing across multidisciplinary teams to bring up UAS components.

The candidate will work with languages like C/C++, Python, MATLAB and JavaScript, and must have a relevant degree with 4+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 4+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, MATLAB and JavaScript.
• Experience with embedded software for autonomous vehicles.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, testing.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain clean, well-documented code for embedded systems.
• Debug and test large codebases with a multi-developer team.
• Support software development for UAS platforms from prototyping to test.
