Technology Service Corporation (FALCATA AISR) seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test software for uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS). The role involves hands-on development, test, and integration of flight components with cross-functional teams at multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in embedded software for autonomous vehicles, strong C/C++, Python, and MATLAB skills, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate/Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/CE/ME/Mechatronics or related field and 4+ years of experience.
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret DoD security clearance.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, MATLAB, JavaScript.
• Experience with embedded systems for autonomous vehicles.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, analysis, optimization, and testing.
• Applied mathematics, differential equations, linear algebra, and statistics.
• Programming of electrical components, data retrieval/evaluation, and device configuration.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain clean, well-documented code for embedded systems.
• Assist in debugging and testing a large codebase with a multi-developer team.
• Conduct developmental tests to identify and fix issues.
• Support software system development for UAS platforms, including prototyping and lab/field evaluation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team across locations.
• Work with product owners to build software solutions for requirements.
• Create rapid, workable software solutions to meet timelines and solve real-world challenges.
