Job summary

RBC in Jersey City is seeking an Associate Director, U.S. Regulatory Reporting and Controls Management to lead regulatory reporting for the U.S. IHC and subsidiaries, drive automation, strengthen controls, and partner with Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Operations to execute change initiatives.

The role reports to the Office of the CFO and offers a comprehensive rewards package. Qualified candidates will have deep knowledge of U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory reporting with experience in regulatory project delivery in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end regulatory report preparation, review, and timely submission of FRB and OCC filings (FR Y-14Q, FR Y-14M, FFIEC 031, FR Y-9C, FR Y-15, FFIEC 009, FR 2644, FR Y-12, FR Y-11, FR Y-8, FR-2004, TIC).
• Drive report automation, enhancements, and process optimization of the regulatory reporting platform.
• Assess the impact of changes in the regulatory environment on RBC's reporting obligations.
• Develop and maintain a strong internal controls environment over regulatory reporting.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, LOBs, Audit, Controllers, Operations to execute change initiatives.
• Identify risk areas through review of policies and controls and drive corrective actions.
• Build, mentor and manage a high-performing team of regulatory reporting professionals.
