Job summary

RBC Capital Markets, LLC is seeking an Associate Director to lead the U.S. Regulatory Reporting and Controls Management for the IHC and affiliates. The role covers end-to-end FRB/OCC reporting, platform improvements, and governance.

You will partner with Legal, Compliance, and Operations to implement change initiatives and strengthen internal controls. The position requires strong regulatory reporting expertise, hands-on use of Axiom SL/Argus, and leadership to mentor a high-performing team.

Qualifications

  • Must have strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory reporting and regulatory project delivery in financial services.
  • Hands-on experience with Axiom SL, Argus, or similar platforms for data integration and automation.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting to senior management and regulators.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and people management to mentor a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end regulatory report preparation, review, and submission for FRB/OCC reports (e.g., FR Y-14 series, FFIEC forms).
  • Drive automation and optimization of reporting platforms and processes.
  • Assess impact of regulatory changes on RBC reporting obligations.
  • Maintain internal controls to meet regulatory standards and governance.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, business units, Audit, Controllers, and Operations on change initiatives.
  • Identify risk areas in reporting policies and implement corrective actions.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing regulatory reporting team.
