Job summary

RBC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for its US Regulatory Services team in Jersey City. The role focuses on regulatory reporting execution, process optimization, and control development to ensure timely, accurate and complete submissions to regulators.

You will partner with Compliance, Legal, Finance and Technology to address regulatory inquiries, manage risk assessments, and drive change initiatives while supporting cross-functional programs and vendor platforms like Broadridge, Fidessa

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and regulatory focus experience.
• Experience with U.S. regulatory reporting requirements across asset classes.
• Demonstrated change-management and UAT capabilities.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycles and middle-office processing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including advanced Excel.
• PM methodology experience (Agile/Waterfall) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform regulatory analysis and change management for new initiatives and rule changes.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting controls and remediation efforts using JIRA and testing docs.
• Lead process improvements and automation opportunities in reporting workflows.
• Prepare documentation and responses for regulatory examinations and inquiries.
