WDSU-TV in New Orleans is seeking a Sales Account Associate for a 9-12 month training program designed to develop candidates into Sales Account Executives.

You will learn local TV sales, build proposals, work with teams, and gain hands-on experience with WideOrbit, Nielsen data, and other sales platforms. The program emphasizes communication, organization, and a drive to become a media sales professional.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent social, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
• Must be organized and focused.
• Proficient in Excel and data handling.
• Aspiration to become a media sales account executive within 9–12 months.
• Military experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist the development of sales proposals, advertising packages, and client presentations.
• Create supportive marketing materials for the sales department.
• Prepare proposals based on account executive requests.
• Communicate with teams and external clients on campaign performance and delivery.
• Enter and maintain all orders including WOCentral to WideOrbit.
• Manage sales database.
