WBAL-TV in Baltimore, a Hearst Television station, is seeking a Sales Account Associate as an entry-level training program to develop into a Sales Account Executive. You\'ll learn all facets of local television sales under the Local Sales Manager and report to them.

The 9-12 month program covers sales proposals, client communications, and training on WideOrbit, Nielsen data, and related tools to prepare you for career advancement in media sales.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle time-sensitive projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong social, intrapersonal, and presentation skills.
• Must be focused and organized.
• Proficient in Excel for complex spreadsheets.
• Aim to become a media sales account executive within 9–12 months.
• Related military experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist development of sales proposals, advertising packages, and client presentations.
• Create supportive marketing materials for the sales department.
• Prepare proposals based on account executive requests.
• Communicate with our teams (including: sales, production, finance) and external clients on performance and delivery of campaigns.
• Enter and maintain all orders including electronic transfer and maintenance of WOCentral orders to WideOrbit.
• Manage sales database.
