Responsibilities

• Prepare guest rooms for the night, turning down bed linen and amenities.
• Clean guest rooms and common areas per SOPs and supervisor directions.
• Stock housekeeping carts with linen, cleaning rags, and amenities.
• Complete turndown services for in-house guests.
• Address guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with laundry duties during peak periods.
• Report deficiencies to the supervisor and take corrective action.
• Support special projects like deep cleaning and mattress rotation.
• Greet guests warmly and respond to concerns with a solution.

• Pay or shift range: $16.50 USD to $20 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

What you'll do:

• Prepare guest rooms for the night to include turning down the bed linen, closing curtains, placing amenities, etc.
• Clean guest rooms and common areas according to standard operating procedures and as assigned by your supervisor
• Stock housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies including linen, cleaning rags, and guest room amenities
• Complete turndown services to all in-house guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards
• Complete any guest requests in a timely fashion
• Maintain cleanliness of guest corridors and back of house throughout the shift
• Maintain organization of storage areas and replenish supplies as needed
• Assist with responsibilities and duties of laundry services during need periods
• Report and correct any deficiencies noted in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate individuals
• Assist in the timely completion of all projects including mattress rotation, window washing, deep cleanings, etc.
• Assist in the implementation of special projects
• Possess knowledge of all guest services and amenities
• Greet all guests in close proximity and make each feel important by providing a genuine welcome
• Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary

Who you are:

• You have a high school diploma or general education degree preferred.
• Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience preferred
• You can interpret standard operating procedures, safety, and sanitation instructions.
