Job summary

Fidelity Hotel in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Turndown Attendant to prepare guest rooms for night service, turning down beds, closing curtains, and placing amenities in accordance with hotel standards. This role supports housekeeping and guest services across the property.

You will stock carts, maintain cleanliness of corridors, assist with laundry duties when needed, and respond promptly to guest requests while upholding safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret SOPs and safety/sanitation instructions.

Responsibilities

• Turn down beds, close curtains and place amenities in guest rooms.
• Clean rooms and common areas per SOPs and supervisor instructions.
• Stock carts with linens, supplies and amenities.
• Complete turndown services for all in-house rooms.
• Address guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors and back-of-house areas.
• Replenish supplies and organize storage areas.
• Assist with laundry duties during peak periods.
• Report deficiencies and support corrective actions.
• Contribute to projects like mattress rotation and deep cleanings.
• Familiarize yourself with all guest services and amenities.
• Greet guests warmly and respond to feedback professionally.

FIDELITY HOTEL is hiring for a TURNDOWN ATTENDANT

Fidelity Hotel is an adaptive reuse project located at 1940 E. 6th Street in the historic 103-year-old Baker Building. Fidelity Hotel will have 97 guest rooms & suites, each with tailored amenities, custom-designed furniture, and thoughtfully curated art. The property will feature a full-service restaurant, bar, event & meeting spaces, and a private dining room. Fidelity Hotel is an homage to Cleveland’s long-standing ideals. What you’ll do:

• Prepare guest rooms for the night to include turning down the bed linen, closing curtains, placing amenities, etc.
• Clean guest rooms and common areas according to standard operating procedures and as assigned by your supervisor
• Stock housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies including linen, cleaning rags, and guest room amenities
• Complete turndown services to all in-house guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards
• Complete any guest requests in a timely fashion
• Maintain cleanliness of guest corridors and back of house throughout the shift
• Maintain organization of storage areas and replenish supplies as needed
• Assist with responsibilities and duties of laundry services during need periods
• Report and correct any deficiencies noted in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate individuals
• Assist in the timely completion of all projects including mattress rotation, window washing, deep cleanings, etc.
• Assist in the implementation of special projects
• Possess knowledge of all guest services and amenities
• Greet all guests in close proximity and make each feel important by providing a genuine welcome
• Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary

Who you are:

• You have a high school diploma or general education degree preferred.
• Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience preferred
• You can interpret standard operating procedures, safety, and sanitation instructions.
