Job summary

Albert Hotel in Fredericksburg, TX is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to uphold spotless guest rooms and create a welcoming atmosphere.

You will follow Standard Operating Procedures, replenish amenities, sanitize high-touch surfaces, report maintenance needs, and work with supervisors to complete projects on time.

This full-time role is part of a boutique hotel with on-site dining outlets, a spa, and event spaces, offering competitive wages and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Report deficiencies and assist with timely project completion (e.g., mattress rotation, window washing).
• Greet guests warmly and be knowledgeable about hotel services.

ALBERT HOTEL is hiring for a ROOM ATTENDANT

An urban oasis, tucked away off of Main Street in the heart of Fredericksburg, TX, Albert Hotel offers a peaceful yet sophisticated luxury experience in Texas's famed Hill Country. Opened in January 2025, the property features 105 thoughtfully appointed guest rooms and suites, along with uniquely designed bunk rooms and a private house with custom furnishings, locally-curated amenities, and thoughtful touches.

With the guest experience in mind, Albert's elevated amenities include a sunken limestone pool featuring an outdoor bar and cabanas, state-of-the-art fitness center, and a 2,000-square-foot full-service spa. Additionally, the property is home to four on-site culinary outlets, including The Wellhouse and Junebug's BBQ.

Albert boasts 3,600-square-foot of semi-open air event space, a 1,200-square-foot mezzanine deck, and an expansive event lawn, making it a prime destination for weddings, private events, and intimate gatherings.

What you'll do:

• Thoroughly clean guest’s rooms according to Standard Operating Procedures; complete in-room checklists for each assigned room
• Replenish guest room amenities as needed including towels, in-room water, bathroom supplies, etc.
• Sanitize all high-touch items in guest’s rooms daily
• Notify your supervisor of any guest rooms that need to be placed out of order for maintenance concerns
• Report and correct any deficiencies noted in guest rooms to the appropriate individuals
• Assist in the timely completion of all projects including mattress rotation, window washing, deep cleanings, etc.
• Greet all guests in close proximity and make each feel important by providing a genuine welcome
• Possess knowledge of all guest services and amenities
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the work area
• Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary

Who you are:

• Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience preferred
• You are ableto interpret standard operating procedures, safety, and sanitation instructions.
