Job summary

Albert Hotel in Fredericksburg, TX, is seeking a Houseperson to support daily operations and uphold our high standards of cleanliness across guest rooms and public spaces.

You’ll manage linen and supply inventories, restock carts, assist guests with requests, and participate in deep cleans and special projects while prioritizing safety, sanitation, and a warm welcome.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Guest service or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret SOPs, safety, and sanitation instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities to ensure adequate supplies.
• Replenish housekeeping carts throughout the shift with all necessary supplies.
• Remove linen and trash from vacated guest rooms following proper procedures.
• Complete guest requests in a timely fashion.
• Maintain guest corridors and back-of-house cleanliness during the shift.
• Report and correct deficiencies in guest rooms or public areas.
• Assist in mattress rotation, window washing, and deep cleaning projects.
• Assist in implementing special housekeeping projects.
• Possess knowledge of all guest services and amenities.
• Greet guests warmly and provide a genuine welcome.
• Address guest comments promptly and apply corrective measures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.

ALBERT HOTEL is hiring for a HOUSEPERSON

An urban oasis, tucked away off of Main Street in the heart of Fredericksburg, TX, Albert Hotel offers a peaceful yet sophisticated luxury experience in Texas's famed Hill Country. Opened in January 2025, the property features 105 thoughtfully appointed guest rooms and suites, along with uniquely designed bunk rooms and a private house with custom furnishings, locally-curated amenities, and thoughtful touches.

With the guest experience in mind, Albert's elevated amenities include a sunken limestone pool featuring an outdoor bar and cabanas, state-of-the-art fitness center, and a 2,000-square-foot full-service spa. Additionally, the property is home to four on-site culinary outlets, including The Wellhouse and Junebug’s BBQ.

Albert boasts 3,600-square-foot of semi-open air event space, a 1,200-square-foot mezzanine deck, and an expansive event lawn, making it a prime destination for weddings, private events, and intimate gatherings.

What you'll do:

• Maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities to ensure adequate supplies in accordance with established par levels and timeframes
• Replenish housekeeping carts throughout the shift with all necessary supplies
• Remove linen and trash from all vacated guest rooms proper to room attendant service
• Complete any guest requests in a timely fashion
• Maintain guest corridor and back of house cleanliness throughout the shift
• Report and correct any deficiencies noted in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate individuals
• Assist in the timely completion of all projects including mattress rotation, window washing, deep cleanings, etc.
• Assist in the implementation of special projects
• Possess knowledge of all guest services and amenities
• Greet all guests in close proximity and make each feel important by providing a genuine welcome
• Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the work area

Who you are:

• You have a high school diploma or general education degree preferred.
• Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience preferred.
• You can interpret standard operating procedures, safety, and sanitation instructions.
