Job summary

Intuit seeks highly motivated TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax preparation and advisory services at a TurboTax location, serving both in-person and virtual clients.

You will collaborate with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and planning to deliver end-to-end solutions while growing the local client base and serving as the local face of TurboTax in the community.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20+ hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and use your name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador by growing the local customer base and organizing local events.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build lasting client relationships to convert one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional service and clear communication.
