Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to perform on-site tax preparation and advisory work at a local TurboTax location.

You will serve clients in-person and virtually, handling a range of tax scenarios from simple to complex and collaborating with a broader Intuit team to deliver end-to-end service. You will grow the local client base, participate in community outreach, and leverage TurboTax marketing tools to build relationships while providing year-round support within the Intuit

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Collaborate with a broader team to connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Grow TurboTax client base locally through outreach and community events.
