Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated Local Service Experts for on-site TurboTax locations in the United States. You will deliver full-service tax preparation, provide expert tax guidance, and collaborate with a team to support business and personal tax needs.

The role emphasizes building local relationships and leveraging TurboTax marketing and tools to grow the client base. The position is nonexempt, onsite, and requires availability during standard hours with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll) with training.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20 hours/week minimum.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Grow TurboTax’s local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships, as the local face of TurboTax.
• Connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual interactions.
• Assist customers via in-person meetings and TurboTax technology tools to ensure accurate results.
