Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to perform on-site, full-service tax preparation while advising clients and connecting them with Intuit’s ecosystem of services.

You will grow a local client base, deliver end-to-end tax solutions, and provide personalized, language-accessible guidance in collaboration with a team of tax professionals. Responsibilities include handling a range of tax scenarios, engaging with the community, and leveraging Intuit marketing tools to build trust

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Must hold an active PTIN to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and be used for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Support local growth by building a local customer base and organizing community events.
• Act as a trusted guide and connect clients with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning) for year-round support.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and ensure clients leave with a clear financial path.
