Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location across the United States, serving in-person and virtual clients. You will provide full-service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and software support, collaborating with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.

You’ll grow the local TurboTax client base, build lasting relationships, and participate in community outreach and local events with marketing support.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite 8:00–17:00 local time, Monday to Friday, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and participate in advertising with name/photo.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients.
• Handle simple to complex tax situations and plan taxes.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
