Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Columbus, GA is seeking an onsite technician to maintain turbine engines, modules, and components following approved data and instructions.

You will use hand tools and fixtures to assemble/disassemble and test engines, ensuring quality and safety standards are met while aligning with delivery goals. FAA-regulated site emphasizes strict safety, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• A&P License or Powerplant Certificate preferred.
• Experience with disassembly, inspection, assembly, or turbine engine test operations.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of a team responsible for turbine engine, engine module, or component maintenance in accordance with published work instructions and approved technical data.
• Utilize hand tools and fixtures to assemble/disassemble and test a jet engine.
• Ensure all assembly/disassembly steps comply with quality standards and are subject to self-inspection or peer inspection.
• Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety, Quality and Delivery objectives.
