Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Columbus Engine Center in Georgia is seeking a Mechanic to overhaul, repair, and assemble advanced jet engines. You will work in a hands-on, team-driven environment focused on safety, reliability, and peak performance. This is a 1st shift, Monday–Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, plus aviation engine overhaul experience and an A&P license. Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• A&P license or Powerplant certificate preferred.
• Experience with turbine engine overhaul and repair advantageous.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turbine engines, engine modules, or components per approved data.
• Assemble/disassemble using hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment.
• Follow work instructions and perform self/peer inspections.
• Ensure safety, quality, and delivery targets.
