Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) Pratt & Whitney Columbus, GA is seeking a maintenance technician to support turbine engine and component maintenance on site. The role requires use of hand tools and fixtures to assemble/disassemble engines per approved data and work instructions, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and relevant aviation engine experience. FAA safety requirements and site-specific procedures apply; relocation is not specified.

Qualifications

Aviation engine overhaul and repair experience preferred.
A&P license or Powerplant certificate required/preferred.
Experience in disassembly, inspection, assembly, or turbine engine testing.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Maintain turbine engines, engine modules, or components per work instructions.
Use hand tools and fixtures to assemble/disassemble and test engine components.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality and delivery objectives.
Perform self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes.
