Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Mechanic for the Columbus Engine Center. This on-site role supports overhaul, repair, and assembly of jet engines for commercial and military aircraft. It is a 2nd Weekend Shift: Fri–Sun, 7:00pm–7:30am, and requires U.S. citizenship.

Join a team focused on safety, quality, and timely engine delivery, with cross-training opportunities across assembly cells. Aviation maintenance experience and A&P/P license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ experience in a mechanic role or relevant technical training required.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team member on turbine engine, engine module, or component maintenance per instructions and data.
• Use hand tools and fixtures to assemble, disassemble, and test jet engines.
• Ensure assembly/disassembly adheres to self/peer inspections and quality standards.
