Job summary

Prattwhitney is hiring a Mechanic to join our Columbus Engine Center in Midland, Texas. This 2nd Shift position plays a critical role in the overhaul and assembly of advanced jet engines. Candidates will work on turbine engine maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in aviation engine repair. We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Aviation engine overhaul and repair experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in disciplines such as disassembly and inspection is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on turbine engine maintenance as part of a team.
• Use hand tools to assemble and test jet engines.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality specifications.

Skills

Aviation engine overhaul and repair experience

Hands-on experience in turbine engine test operations

Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma

Microsoft Office applications

SAP experience
