Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Texas is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food and a well-trained crew. You will supervise the line, keep it clean, and help clocked-in teammates stay on task; when busy, you’ll prioritize tasks to keep service smooth.

You’ll train front-of-house staff, participate in performance reviews, assist office duties, and contribute to a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Have knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Have familiarity with office paperwork.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Making sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Helping to resolve food quality issues.
• Supporting food safety including hand washing, glove changes, and time/temperature monitoring on the line.
• Helping to resolve customer incidents and ensuring positive experiences.
• Helping to monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Developing and cross-training all front of house Crew.
• Assisting with Crew performance reviews.
• Developing future Service Leaders.
• Assisting with office administration duties such as banking and cash handling policies.
