Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to uphold a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served and the restaurant crew is well trained to provide excellent service. The role requires staying on your feet on the line, maintaining a clean, organized operation, and stepping in to assist when busy.

You will oversee breaks, shift changes, and line schedules while developing and cross training front-of-house crew, assisting with performance

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Know cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to read, write, speak the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety on the line (hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature)
• Monitor time and temperature on the line and shelf lives
• Follow Daily Food Safety Checklist and policies
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules
• Cross-train front of house crew
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with banking, cash handling policies and office paperwork
• Ensure office equipment and supplies are stocked and available
