Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking a Service Desk Officer in Reston, VA to provide Tier 1 IT support for SAP-IT systems on TAC2OO program. This on-site role requires TS/SCI with poly, 5 days a week, and collaboration across a mission-focused IT team.

You will monitor networks, troubleshoot IT infrastructure, and act as a liaison between end users and senior staff. Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits and strong security clearances are provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal (phone) and written communication skills.
• Experience with general information technology.
• Willingness to work in Northern Virginia (Reston).
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Must be 8140 compliant (IAT Level 2) and able to obtain CE training/certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 Service Desk support via telephone, email and ticketing system for TAC2O customers.
• Monitor network and server infrastructure and perform initial troubleshooting.
• Escalate issues to senior technical staff when needed.
• Serve as liaison between end users and senior staff.
• Process routine work orders such as software installation and license management.
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy in customer interactions.
