Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking a highly motivated IT Field Support Specialist (HT1) to deliver advanced on-site and remote Tier 2/3 support for workstations, servers, printers, and conferencing equipment.

The role requires office presence, TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, a high school diploma, 1–2 years IT experience, and 8570 Certification; Security+ is preferred. On-site duties and equipment installation are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1–2 years IT experience.
• 8570 Certification required; Security+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 and 3 on-site and remote technical support for workstations, servers, printers and conferencing equipment.
• Conduct site surveys and document configurations for transparency and repeatability.
• Prepare hardware procurement specs and installation schedules for deployments.
• Prepare and deliver site installation and test reports; support network upgrade initiatives.
• Build and install cabling as needed for site integrations.
• Train site personnel on proper hardware use and maintenance.
• Maintain government and vendor hardware (fiber modems, cables, phone systems) for connectivity.
• Follow SOPs and use ticketing systems to track issues and ensure efficient IT service.
• Serve as a resource for end-user connectivity needs and collaborate with teams.
