Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking an IT Field Support Specialist for a government customer site in Columbia, MD. The role provides advanced Tier 2/3 support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure, with on-site and remote duties.

A TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required, and 8570 certification is preferred. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED, with 3–5 years of IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Advanced technical support: deliver Tier 2 and 3 support for workstations, servers, printers, and teleconferencing equipment on-site and remotely.
• Site surveys & documentation: create diagrams and configuration changes for transparency and repeatability.
• Hardware acquisition & installation: develop specs for procurement and schedules for deployment.
• Project support & reporting: prepare site installation and test reports and assist network upgrade efforts.
• Training & user enablement: train site personnel on proper use and maintenance of hardware.
