Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector seeks a Tier II Network Technician to support the government customer site in El Segundo, CA. The role focuses on design specifications, testing, and upgrades for computer networks, with a strong emphasis on incident response and network maintenance.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience required across work history and education.
• DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 required.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekend support.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices.
• Respond to and resolve incidents, demonstrate troubleshooting skills, and communicate with the team.
• Draft and implement standard network change requests.
• Coordinate with Tier III network engineers for incidents and projects.
• Perform configuration management: update topology drawings and asset records; conduct inventory.
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades; familiarity with CISCO/Juniper RMA process.
